Images from Antarctica
The team has been back in warmer climes for almost a month now, but by no means does this mean the Antarctica 2010 project is complete! In fact, the real work has just begun.
So while we slave away at our computers crunching endless columns of data, it’s nice to remind ourselves part of the reason we do what we do. We are lucky in that we enjoy our research and we are fortunate to work in environments as spectacular as Antarctica (those that pass the medical exam anyway!). So I’ll leave you with some photographs the team took in the field, which I think speak for themselves.
We are also working on getting the Seamor ROV video processed, which has some spectacular underwater and under-ice footage, and hope to post clips in the next week. We’ll also have some preliminary data plots for your viewing pleasure, so stay tuned for the next update.
Cheers,
Andrew
